Been looking back at some of my older work, particularly tattoos as I’ve not been tattooing much lately due to other work commitments (i.e. drawing like a madwoman for my non tattoo clients). I have a few I wanna share over the next few days as I still really love them now! After the Brighton Convention, my booking system is going to change drastically as it’s looking like I’m gonna have a massively busy year illustrating and painting (hi I’m really excited about this!). Happy new year, from me to you! Starting out 2019 with your now yearly reminder that I’m not a dude. It says so in my bio & everything! What are you goals for the new year? Goals are better than resolutions I think. These things have a habit of shifting and evolving as time wears on… goals are more adaptable. Resolutions often set us up for disappointment. Personally, I am aiming to work on my tarot project more, paint with oils more, and embark on a ridiculously ambitious doll project that’s far more likely to turn into a life’s work than a goal just for 2019 😂 (at London)

As well as the dolls and their various miniature accoutrements, I am also working on a dolls house refurb. I picked this up in a charity shop for £20 in a proper state. Dark grey paint had been slapped all over it with no care or regard for keeping surfaces free of drips etc. (swipe for a couple of before pics). It was all over the inside as well. So, this is where I’m at with it now. I’ve mostly covered the grey on the outside, have papered the roof and chimneys and have begun repainting the inside. This house is an odd size and more or less impossible to get properly scaled furniture for… so I’m gonna have to make everything for the interior from scratch 😎 I have another house that I’ll be doing the same sort of thing with soon as well. #dollhouse #dollhouserenovation #dollhouseminiatures #teacakeart #miniatureart #miniatures (at London)
